FITTING THE EXERCISE BALL FITTING THE BALL: The
easiest way to fit a ball it to simply sit on the ball. Knee and hips should be
at 90 degree angles when the ball is properly sized. If the hips are at an angle
greater than 90 degrees of flexion, the diameter of the ball is too large.
Conversely, if the angle is considerably less than 90 degrees, the ball is too
small. FINDING
THE CENTER POSITION: The
easiest way to find a centered position, or the position with the lease amount
of tension and stress on the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, is to
simply bounce repeatedly on the ball. Gradually come to a stop. The position you
end up in is considered centered.
